This 640-hour online course is for chiropractic assistants who wish to obtain radiography certification.
 
Presented by the American Chiropractic Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ACRRT) in partnership with York Technical College, this course covers 4 modules over a 16-week span:
  • Basic Principles of X-ray and Digital Imaging
  • Radiation Protection and Exposure Factors
  • Radiography in a Chiropractic Office and QA/QC
  • Radiographic Anatomy and Positioning of the of the Appendicular Skeleton
You will explore the topics of radiation physics, x-ray generation, applications, and anatomy & positioning.

Students are also required to participate in a clinical component for successful completion.
There is a required book to purchase from ACRRT

Upon completing the course, students must enroll in the Certification Exam through ACRRT.
