Meeting and Event Planning Certificate

Meeting and Event Planners may be employed by various organizations for the sole purpose of planning important meetings, fund raising dinners, galas, celebrations, and more.  They may also become entrepreneurs working as independent contractors building their resume as they work.  These professionals may plan weddings, parties and other functions and gatherings. Our program will prepare students form planning all such events.  Students will learn about event concept development, how to adhere to budgets, marketing, logistics coordination and more.  The course will include more than just lecture.  During the course students will be engaged in short field trips and tastings to being their toolbox.
