You can prepare to become a Nurse Aide with this comprehensive 112-hour course approved by the SC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). You will receive training in basic nursing care through classroom lecture, and simulated lab care . This course prepares you for the Nurse Aide Competency Exam.
Proof of High School Diploma or GED is required to register, and students must take CPR prior to registering for this course.
Potential students must meet with the YTC Program Coordinator at least 30 days before the start of class to obtain a binder for the pre-requirements.
