Are you a chiropractic assistant who wants to gain Radiography Certification? If so, this course is for you.
This 48-hour online course is presented by the SC Chiropractic Association (SCCA) in partnership with York Technical College and covers 4 modules over a 32 week span:
  • Radiographic Imaging Equipment and Accessories
  • Radiographic Exposure and Patient Safety
  • Radiographic Anatomy and Positioning of the Axial Skeleton and Chest
  • Radiographic Anatomy and Positioning of the Appendicular Skeleton
You will explore the topics of radiation physics, x-ray generation, radiographic film storage and handling, applications, screen characteristics, construction of intensifying screens, automatic processing, and artifact analysis.

This course also requires participation in a clinical component.
Upon successful completion of this course, you must contact the SCCA to enroll in the Certification Exam.
