Enhance your skills in therapeutic healing with our non-credit Clinical Massage Therapy Program at York Technical College. This comprehensive program offers 694 contact hours of hands-on training and in-depth theoretical knowledge, preparing students to excel in clinical environments. Participants will learn various modalities with a major curriculum of anatomy and physiology; clinical massage theory and practice; allied modalities; statutes and history of massage; business practice, ethics, pathology, and CPR, all designed to support health and wellness. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of the body's mechanics and the healing process.

Ideal for those looking to pursue a career in clinical and wellness settings or expand their integrated healthcare expertise. Graduates will be well-prepared for state licensure and national certification, opening opportunities in rehabilitation centers, spas and wellness centers, chiropractic offices, hospitals, private practice, and more.

Required for Registration:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or college degree
  • SLED Background check
  • Complete student health form
  • You must be able to perform physical tasks
  • Orientation attendance is required
The program at York Technical College is designed to meet the SC Board of Massage Therapy requirements to qualify students for licensure in SC.  Students would need  to contact the state they wish to obtain a license for that state's specific requirements.
Tuition does not include books, scrubs, or other fees.
Students who wish to apply for financial assistance should complete the scholarship application by clicking the scholarship link . If approved, you will be contacted with registration information. Scholarships qualify up to $5,000. Additional funding options may be available by applying for private loans.
